Editorial policy

Everything in the CareBridge blog is published by the CareBridge team — the same people who build and run the monitoring service (about us). There is no guest-post programme, no sponsored placement, and nobody pays to be included in or excluded from a comparison.

How a guide gets written

  1. We pick a topic from a queue of questions caregivers actually search for, and reject anything that would substantially repeat a guide we have already published.
  2. Drafting is AI-assisted. We use an AI writing tool to produce the first draft against a written brief and a fixed fact sheet about our own product.
  3. Every draft arrives as a pull request with a fact-check table listing each externally sourced claim and the URL it came from. A member of the team reads it and merges it, or sends it back. Nothing publishes automatically.

We disclose this because readers should know how what they are reading was made. It does not change the standard we hold it to: if a claim cannot be sourced, it does not ship.

How we handle facts about other products

  • Any claim about a competitor's price, plan or feature comes from that company's own site or official documentation, checked at the time of writing, wherever we can reach it. Where a vendor blocks automated access, we say so in the article. Marketing roundups and forum posts are not sources for factual claims.
  • Volatile facts are date-stamped in the body text: next to a price you will see the month it was checked and where it was checked, because pricing changes and a guide with an undated number is a guide you cannot check.
  • If we could not verify something, we generalise it or leave it out rather than guess.

Our conflict of interest

We sell a product that competes with most of the tools we write about. Comparisons say so in the article itself, and every article includes an honest statement of where CareBridge is the wrong choice. We do not publish superlatives about our own product.

What we do not do

  • We do not give medical advice, diagnose anything, or make clinical claims. Where a topic touches a health decision, we say to talk to a doctor.
  • We do not physically test medical alert hardware or wearables. When we describe them, we describe what the manufacturer documents.
  • We do not invent statistics, user counts, or testimonials — for ourselves or anyone else.
  • We do not publish articles under an invented human byline. These guides are written by the company, and that is what the byline says.

Corrections and updates

If something is wrong or has gone out of date, email support@carebridge.family. We correct the article and add an updated date to it. When we learn that a product we cover has changed its pricing or features, we update the guides that mention it.
